We are at the forefront of mobile interactivity, creating
integrated marketing campaigns that combine the passion of live broadcast and
events with the ubiquity of mobile messaging as the means for brands to reach
their target market at the right time and in the right place. Txtstation works
with many world-class brands, collegiate and professional sports teams,
stadiums, arenas and blue-chip agencies. Reporting to the VP of Sales &
Business Development of Txtstation/CommerceTel, we are seeking to add an
experienced consultative sales executive to join our small but outstanding
team. This new position, to be located in the home office, will have
responsibility for guiding clients and prospects in the development of mobile
marketing strategies with accountability for achieving revenue and financial
goals. The ideal candidate will provide thought leadership in the marketplace
on how to optimize the use of mobile marketing in relevant industry verticals
along with the implementation of customer strategies that enhance sales and
build enterprise value.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with senior leadership in shaping the sales and
marketing strategies for cross organization buy-in and support;
Activate approved strategies by undertaking aggressive,
systematic plans for developing new business; Represent us at industry
gatherings, writing white papers, case studies and opinion pieces.
Plan, organize and lead activities focused on establishing
and maintaining relationships with key decision makers at agencies and targeted
accounts;
Initiate, develop and manage appropriate processes that ensure
the preparation and presentation of effective proposals from lead generation
through closing of sales contracts.
Key Competencies:
Ability to understand verticals such as: agencies, sports
teams, mobile, online, brands, casinos, event marketing, digital out of home,
etc.
Demonstrated accomplishment and leadership in consultative
selling. Practical yet creative in terms of developing innovative approaches to
mobile marketing and brand activation;
A solid appreciation for the agency, sports, casino, event
marketing community and how media decisions are made; Strong analytical skills
and ability to develop sales forecasts, address shortfalls and capitalize on
success;
High level of self confidence, communication skills and
drive to make things happen.
Other Attributes:
Ability to create winning solutions in a competitive
marketplace;
A minimum 5 years of progressively successful sales
experiences in the technology, broadcasting, advertising and
entertainment/sports sectors with at least 3 years working in a start-up or
entrepreneurial environment.
An undergraduate degree Self starter, disciplined and
possessing excellent management, leadership and interpersonal skills; Ability
to travel, heavy cold calling and prospecting.
