Txtstation Launches NFL Real Time Interactive TV, Powered by Cell Phones

Txtstation and KCBS launch a new viewing experience for NFL fans powered by cell phones; the broadcast will be played on the NFL TV network and 14 other TV networks across the USA:
In conjunction with the Oakland Raiders, over the following 4 week’s pre-season matches, Txtstation TV will be integrating their LIVE real time graphics within each broadcast quarter of the game.

The engaging experience is pure marketing and a chance to increase TV ratings, the viewers vote for their all time greatest Raiders player via a TXT/SMS message, which then displays a live animation on TV with exact results. The viewers have the chance to WIN a SUITE with their friends at one of the next RAIDER games, plus there are a number of merchandise prizes supplied by RAIDER IMAGE STORES. The outlet is also offering each entrant a 20% discount on any merchandise online or at retail for a limited time, and has RAIDER IMAGE branding within the real time graphic.

Txtstation also will collect valuable data such as demographic information, and also offer the viewer to join the NFL KCBS mobile club. Jeff Proctor head of programming for the network says he can communicate with his viewers for the up and coming broadcasts and market directly to fans, and offer special incentives to club members.

Txtstation has developed the system with broadcast quality graphics, and the hardware is set up with the outdoor broadcast vans at the game, and working with the director and programming teams, the results are displayed at designated times, with commentator support.
