FOX News introduces a groundbreaking campaign to millions of viewers in a Special State of the Union Edition of Hannity & Colmes
24 January 2007

Following the State of the Union Address by President Bush, FOX News became the first national news channel to integrate real time SMS voting into one of their broadcasts.  A special edition of Hannity & Colmes posed the question of “How did the President do?” and offered three possible options consisting of “Excellent, Good, or Poor”.

The campaign garnered tens of thousands of responses and the results were displayed live on screen throughout the show.  More importantly, viewers were able to interact with the broadcast, voice their opinions, and witness how their response compared with those of others.
